Our Gorgeous South Woodford Kitchen Design Project
This clean yet characterful compact kitchen brings style and practicality into perfect harmony to create a beautiful backdrop to our East London client’s open-plan kitchen diner. Seeking out innovative and creative solutions to use the space wisely was absolutely key to the success of this charming interior.
To create a practical u-shaped kitchen, we extended the base cupboards to incorporate the structural wall into a bespoke peninsular. Wrapping the worktop and cabinets around the wall in this way gives additional depth for fantastic storage. Our client’s brief also required us to accommodate a large American-style fridge-freezer. To integrate this appliance into the space, we designed a custom cupboard surround that leads on to further base cabinets and shelving. Extending the kitchen out into the dining area is a great way to maximise the use of space, creating plenty of practical storage.
A fresh and clean colour scheme ensures the room feels bright and airy while establishing a timeless sense of elegance and sophistication. Vintage dark blue tiles bring a characterful touch, in keeping with our client’s traditional Rangemaster oven and ducted cooker hood. The bold luxurious blue colour creates a stunning contrast against the pale neutral cabinetry.
Despite its compact appearance, this kitchen delivers ample worktop and storage space without compromising on its stunning looks. The combination range cooker complete with warming drawer and 5 burners provides impressive functionality. This beautiful classically inspired kitchen showcases just what you can achieve with an innovative approach and an impeccable eye for detail.
