A Breath-taking Brentwood Kitchen To Command A Dramatic Space
High ceilings and a beautiful original chimney breast imbue our client’s space with elegance and sophistication. These key features play a vital role in our design. We’ve transformed the chimney breast into a bespoke mantle, creating an eye-catching focal point. The stunning seascape within sets the tone for the whole room. To accentuate the high ceiling, we’ve encased the tall units within the wall. This subtle detail makes all the difference. Freestanding units wouldn’t look anywhere near as elegant.
We took inspiration for the colour scheme from the dramatic seascape splashback. The soft concrete grey island offsets the sleek dark gloss units beautifully. A mirror finish plinth gives the island the illusion of floating, much like the head of land seen hovering over the ethereal sea spray. This contrasting combination of light and dark and smooth and textural brings fantastic movement and depth to the space. Clean white worktops and white walls complete the airy, coastal-inspired design.
A teardrop-shaped breakfast bar makes a great addition to the space. It offers a lovely place to sit and enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine while chatting to whoever’s cooking. This kitchen features lots of other fantastic practical additions, including a spacious Fisher & Paykel fridge-freezer and a Quooker tap.
